Ranking Policy (Art. 5 – Regulation (EU) 2019/1150)

Wedely S.à r.l. operates an online intermediation service connecting restaurants and consumers. In accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 (Platform-to-Business Regulation), we provide the following description of the main parameters determining the ranking of restaurants and their offers on the Wedely platform.

Main ranking parameters

The order in which restaurants are displayed to users is determined by a combination of the following parameters, listed in order of relative importance:

  1. Availability — restaurants currently open and accepting orders are shown first, followed by those available for pre-order, and then closed restaurants.
  2. Delivery distance — among restaurants with the same availability status, those closer to the user’s delivery address are ranked higher. This is the primary organic sorting factor.
  3. User ratings — users may choose to sort restaurants by rating. In the default sort (by distance), the average rating serves as a secondary tiebreaker.
  4. Paid promotion — restaurants may purchase sponsored placement campaigns, which allow them to appear in up to six highlighted positions at the top of the list. Sponsored results are clearly identified. Paid promotion does not affect the organic ranking of non-sponsored restaurants.

Differentiated treatment

Wedely S.à r.l. does not offer goods or services in competition with its restaurant partners on the platform. No differentiated treatment is applied in favour of any controlled entity.
