Haat Bazzar

Haat Bazaar is a traditional open-air market common in South Asian countries such as India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan, usually a weekly or periodic rural marketplace. "Haat" means a market held on specific days, while "Bazaar" refers to a marketplace—together describing a lively gathering where farmers, artisans, and small traders sell fresh produce, grains, clothes, and household items. People value these markets especially for buying fresh fruits and vegetables directly from local sellers at affordable prices, and they also serve as important social and cultural hubs for the community. Inspired by this concept, we chose the name Haat Bazaar because it represents a place where people can find a wide variety of goods in one location. While we currently focus on fresh food, our vision is to grow so customers can eventually find everything they'd expect from a traditional Haat Bazaar. The term stays the same in Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, and Urdu, while in English it's often translated as "weekly market" or "open-air market."
